The relief she felt when he said her name was palpable and Lily's shoulders relaxed even as she watched the little girl run off. There were children here, all sorts of people, entirely different from those she'd met in Darrow and she had no idea what to make of any of it.

But at least she wasn't alone.

"I don't know," she said, going to him, reaching for his hand. "I was at a gala, I went to the bathroom and then..." She trailed off, at a loss. "Have you seen anyone else you recognize? They're all strangers to me."
