"I'll be here," Lily promises, crouching to pet Origami, rubbing her ears. She's not much of one for pets herself -- mostly because she'd rather not have to be responsible for anyone other than herself -- but she likes the pets her friends have.

"I haven't even had a drink," she calls, standing again and brushing her hands off on her jacket. "I figured the two of us could still manage to find enough fun without having to worry about anything like that." It's much more than that, but Lily doesn't know how to say something like that, she doesn't know how to tell Eden it's because of their friendship that she wouldn't and so she doesn't. It helps, too, that Eden knows how to relax without needing any real help.
